Green Washed.

‘Noun: To make people believe that your company is doing more to protect the environment than it really is (Cambridge Dictionary, 2023).’ The shoot follows the journey of a dress that is literally green washed. When the model resurfaces from the water she is covered in pond weed. However, on closer inspection, the viewer becomes aware that this is an illusion and the dress is actually made from unsustainable organza that is impersonating pondweed. This shoot is therefore designed to raise awareness on the misconception that products which are labelled as sustainable/green/eco etc, are always kind to the environment.
